Westlake Ace Hardware to Open Store in Derby, Kansas.

The store will be the seventh Westlake Ace location in the Wichita area.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (January 20, 2021) – Westlake Ace Hardware announced today it has signed a lease to open a new store at 317 N. Rock Road, Suite 500 in Derby, Kan. – joining six other locations Westlake Ace Hardware currently operates in the Wichita area.

Westlake Ace Hardware plans to take possession of the 16,600 sq. ft. property on June 1 and open the store in July. The new store will sell traditional hardware products such as lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies. It will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, including:

• The Garden Center will feature a full range of seasonal live goods, gardening supplies, and other outdoor living products.
• The Backyard BBQ department will feature a full range of grills and BBQ accessories from such leading brands as Weber and Traeger.
• The Outdoor Power Equipment department will offer full range of gas-, electric-, and battery-powered blowers, chain saws, mowers, and string trimmers from manufacturers such as EGO, Stihl, and Toro.
• The Tool Shop will feature power and hand tools from leading brands like Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Craftsman.
• The Paint Studio will feature a wide range of paints and painting supplies from Benjamin Moore, Magnolia Home Paint by Joanna Gaines, Clark + Kensington, Purdy, and Kilz.
