Pool & Spa FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Every spa delivery and installation is different, but here are a few of the most frequently asked questions we receive at Ace Pools and Spas. Our knowledgeable, experienced sales and service staff is happy to address additional questions or concerns by phone, by email or in-store.

What is the most popular spa you sell?

Our most popular spa is the Pamlico model from our exclusive Outer Banks Series. It’s designed with our local market in mind. Customers often choose the Pamlico because of its overall value, durability, performance and appearance. Our most popular color combination is the gray cabinet with blue interior shell, but we feature several great color options.

How quickly can I get a spa for my rental home?

We have the largest inventory of spas on the Outer Banks and can typically respond quickly for spas purchased from stock, often within two to three days depending upon the season, environment and any other factors affecting delivery. We will always work to meet your scheduling needs.

What do I do with my old spa?

We know it’s difficult for homeowners to dispose of their old spas. So, we offer a service to remove and dispose of your old spa for a small fee.

Do I need to hire an outside crane service to deliver my new spa?

No. We have our own four-wheel drive crane truck and can deliver and install most spas. As part of our sales process, we conduct an on-site survey of your property to assess delivery requirements.

Does Ace Pools and Spas handle the electrical hook up of my new spa?

No, you will need to hire a qualified electrician to connect the power source to your spa. If needed, we can assist you in finding an electrician.

Are any permits required for my new spa?
