Westlake Ace Hardware Raises $105,000 for Heat Relief

Kansas City, MO – July 19, 2023 – Westlake Ace Hardware has concluded its annual Fan Drive in support of The Salvation Army, raising $105,000 across 129 participating Westlake Ace-operated stores.

During the first three weeks of June, Westlake Ace customers were asked to contribute to the Fan Drive by rounding up their purchases at the register. The donations were then calculated, and fans were provided at cost by Westlake Ace. Additionally, the hardware retailer donated an extra 800 fans, resulting in 6,100 fans given this summer to Salvation Army locations across the U.S.

Since its inception in 2012, the Fan Drive has raised $855,000 and provided more than 58,000 fans to those in need.
