Olathe Westlake Ace Hardware Officially Opens

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (January 15, 2024) – The new Westlake Ace Hardware in western Olathe, Ks. — located at 1185 W. Santa Fe St. — will host a grand opening event and sale January 19 – 21. The weekend’s events will also be an opportunity for the Olathe community to meet Erika Tritz, the new store’s general manager.

The 15,000 sq. ft. store features a large range of products including lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies, and offers services such as automotive key cutting and fob replacement and propane tank exchange. The store will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such leading brands as:

Milwaukee, Black & Decker, DeWalt, and Craftsman power tools
Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints
Stihl, EGO, and Milwaukee outdoor power equipment
Weber, Traeger, Big Green Egg, and Ooni grills and accessories
Scotts lawn care products
Carhartt and Dickies workwear
Yeti coolers and accessories
Nursery plants, flowers, and seasonal outdoor living supplies (coming spring 2024)

“Board Cutting” and Grand Opening Celebrations

A ceremonial board cutting by Westlake Ace leadership and local dignitaries will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 18. Refreshments will be served.

A Grand Opening Sale will be held January 19-21 when customers will receive 20 percent off most purchases.

On Saturday, January 20, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the grand opening celebration event will include product demonstrations, free prize drawings, free kids’ activities, and cookies from KCookies.

General Manager Erika Tritz joined Westlake Ace Hardware in 2014 and has held management positions at other stores in the Kansas City metro over the past 10 years. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and landscaping, crafting, and exploring the Kansas City food scene.
