Westlake Ace Hardware to Open Sacramento-Area Store

When open, Ace Hardware of Land Park will be Westlake Ace’s 24th location in the state.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 5, 2025) – Westlake Ace Hardware announced today it has signed an agreement to open a new store in the Sacramento, Calif. area.

Ace Hardware of Land Park will be located in the former Raley’s grocery store, which was at 4880 Freeport Blvd. in Sacramento. The store will feature approximately 19,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Renovations are expected to begin in the latter half of 2025, and a soft opening is tentatively planned for early 2026.

Westlake Ace owns and operates ten other locations in northern California: Chico, Northeast Fresno, Livermore, Mountain View, Pinole, Pleasant Hill, San Jose, Santa Rosa (Guerneville Fulton Ace Hardware), Turlock, and Woodland. Ace Hardware of San Leandro is expected to open this summer.

In addition to selling lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies, the store’s Kitchen Connection department will feature gourmet foods, cookware, kitchen utensils, kitchen linens, and more. Other leading brands will also be available at Ace Hardware of Land Park:

• Craftsman, DeWalt, and Milwaukee power tools
• Diablo saw blades and power tool accessories
• Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints
• EGO, Milwaukee, and Stihl outdoor power equipment
• Scotts and Miracle-Gro lawn and plant care products
• Yeti coolers and accessories
• Nursery plants, flowers, shrubs, and outdoor living supplies

The store will also offer such services as key cutting, automotive key fob replacement, and propane tank exchange.
