Westlake Ace Hardware Charlotte Rozzelle Crossing

General Manager

Avery Starr
Since joining Westlake Ace Hardware in 2025, I have been dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive shopping experience for every customer. I am proud to serve as the General Manager of Store #185, where I enjoy leading a talented team and helping our community find the right solutions for their home improvement needs. My favorite departments are Hardware and STIHL because they allow me to assist customers with everything from everyday repairs to outdoor power equipment. I earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2021. My education provided a strong foundation in problem-solving, leadership, and customer-focused decision-making, which I strive to apply every day in my role. I am committed to building a welcoming environment for both our customers and associates while fostering a culture of teamwork, growth, and continuous improvement. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through fitness, spending time with my fiancée, family, and friends, and continuing to grow as a leader. I look forward to serving our community and ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience at Westlake Ace Hardware.
