Dennis Company Ace 2023 Canning Photo Contest

Eligibility.  NO PURCHASE OR OTHER CONSIDERATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER AND WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCE OF WINNING.  To enter, you must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the Pacific or Grays Harbor, Washington, United States. Employees of Westlake Hardware, Inc. (“Company”) or its affiliates and any person involved in the development, administration or fulfillment of this contest, and all immediate family members of any such person, are ineligible. All such entities and individuals are collectively referred to herein as “Affiliates”.

Entry; Prize; Judging.  To enter to win a Canning Prize Basket having an approximate retail value of $50.00, email your original digital photo to events@westlakehardware.com along with your legal name, address, email address and phone number between 9/1/2023 and 9/17/2023 (the “Entry Period”).  Only photos sent in file formats of .jpeg, .bmp, or .png during the Entry Period will be accepted.  Limit three entries per household. Entries must conform to the Official Rules to be a valid entry.  On or about September 17, 2023, representatives from the Company will vote to be based on the following factors: (a) composition of the photo, (b) aesthetic beauty, (c) quality of the photography, and (d) artistic flair, all of which shall be determined solely by the individual voters.  One winning entry will be chosen and announced by September 19, 2023 from all valid entries received during the Entry Period. Each prize winner agrees to pay any and all taxes and other government assessments due on an awarded prize. Company reserves the rights to cancel, suspend and/or modify the contest or these Official Rules or to disqualify any entry or any vote, in each case, to the extent allowed under applicable law. Company is not liable for unauthorized human intervention, technical errors, printing errors, delays, or any other errors in the administration of this contest.

Prize Acceptance.  Prize winners will be notified by email. To claim a prize, prize winners may be asked to complete, sign and return as directed by Company within 14 days after the date of the first notice of award, Company’s form of Prize Acceptance Agreement that includes an affidavit of eligibility (including proof of eligibility upon request), waiver of liability, and publicity authorization and release, plus an IRS Form W-9.  Failure to timely respond or comply with these requirements will result in disqualification and an alternate prize winner will be selected by the same factors as described above.  If Company is unable to award a prize after making reasonable attempts, the prize will remain un-awarded unless otherwise prohibited by law.  Final selection of a prize winner is subject to verification of compliance with the eligibility requirements outlined in these Official Rules.

Grant of Rights; Release.  By entering, you: (a) grant to Company an irrevocable, perpetual, unrestricted and worldwide right to use your name and likeness in Company’s advertising and promotional materials, regardless of the type of media, content, or manner of distribution/broadcast; (b) release and agree to hold harmless Company and Affiliates from any and all losses, damages, claims and actions of any kind arising from or relating to this contest or an awarded prize, including, without limitation, claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy; (c) acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Company as the sponsor of this contest; and (d) that any legal action arising from or relating to the contest will be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Washington.  Photos entered become the exclusive property of Company and may be used by Company in digital or printed promotional materials or any other use it deems necessary without credit to photographer.  Photographers must have permission to enter photos of any person whose face is shown and recognizable in their photos. Photographs submitted must be taken by the photographer entering the photo.
