Ace Retailers Support Valley Children’s Hospital

Kansas City, Mo. (August 14,2024) – Ace Hardware of Fresno and Ace Hardware of Turlock kicked off Ace’s annual CMN Bucket Sale with a special delivery in early August for Children’s Miracle Network patients at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, Calif. Team members handed out special Ace stuffed animals, giving them a new cuddly companion. Additionally, Ace team members set up some craft stations and helped the children color, make wallets with duct tape and make a paint chip craft.

Visits like this, in which our patients can take a break from their treatment and step away from their rooms to enjoy arts and crafts time, is so important. These activities can be therapeutic and help children in their recovery and healing process. It is great for the parents too. Families love to see their children smile and be kids.”

The time with the children put a smile on Ace team members faces. They enjoyed making new friends, creating special memories for the children and helping brighten the day of patients.
