KANSAS CITY, Mo. (November 29, 2022) – The new Ace Hardware of Pleasant Hill at 1530 Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill, Calif. will hold a ceremonial “board cutting” and other grand opening celebrations Dec. 1-4.

Surendra Reddy has been named general manager of the new store. A native of the Fiji Islands, Reddy moved to the United States in 1995 and has more than 25 years of retail management experience. He and his family live nearby in Discovery Bay, Calif.

“I look forward to welcoming new friends and customers to the store and showing them how we live the Ace Helpful Promise every day by delivering reliable service, helpful advice, and the products they need to preserve and maintain their homes,” said Reddy.

“Board Cutting” and Grand Opening Celebrations

A ceremonial board cutting by Ace leadership, Pleasant Hill Mayor Michael Harris, and representatives of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce will be held at the new 12,000 square foot store at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1. A light breakfast will be served.

A “20% Off Grand Opening Celebration Sale” will be held Dec. 2-4. On Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., a grand opening celebration event will include grill demonstrations, prize drawings, free kids’ activities, and holiday treats.

In addition to offering such services as key cutting and automotive key fob replacement, a propane tank exchange, knife sharpening, Ace Hardware of Pleasant Hill sells holiday lights, lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies.
