A Grand Opening for Ace Hardware of Placentia

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 8, 2024) – The new Ace Hardware of Placentia at 1257 East Yorba Linda Blvd. will host a “board cutting” and grand opening events July 12-14. The events will also be an opportunity to formally introduce Linda Rodriguez, the new store’s general manager, to the Placentia community.

The 20,000 sq. ft. store sells various products including lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies. It also offers automotive key cutting, key fob replacement, Stihl outdoor power equipment repair, carpet cleaning machine rental, and propane tank exchange.

Ace Hardware of Placentia features several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such leading brands as:

• Big Green Egg, Blackstone, Traeger, and Weber grills and accessories
• Craftsman, DeWalt, and Milwaukee power tools
• Diablo saw blades and power tool accessories
• Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints

Board Cutting and Grand Opening Celebrations

• A ceremonial board cutting by Westlake Ace leadership and local Placentia dignitaries will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 11. Refreshments will be served.
• A “Celebration Sale” will be held July 12-14 during which customers will receive 20 percent off most purchases.
• On Saturday, July 13, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the grand opening celebration event will include vendor demonstrations, free prize drawings, refreshments, a balloon artist, and more.

Linda Rodriguez has 30 years of experience in retail. Before being promoted to general manager of Westlake Ace’s Placentia store, she was an assistant manager in the company’s South Pasadena location. Her favorite department is seasonal goods, where she can help customers get ready for time outdoors with products like patio furniture, or during the holidays with lights and décor.

Rodriguez enjoys traveling, cooking, and hosting monthly family dinners in her spare time. A die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, she has a deep appreciation of vintage cars.

Westlake Ace owns and operates 19 California locations, including nine in Southern California: Glendale, La Crescenta, Placentia, Porter Ranch, Simi Valley, South Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and West LA.
